IP Ban is very much possible. If there is just a feature that would list the IP addresses of every member, then that would be easier to do. I already have spotted some members making multiple accounts to win contests and/or become a promoter. Tsk, mahirap ngang hulihin ang mga katulad nyo, pero sa kalaunan mahuhuli parin kayo. (antaeng tagalog)

So yeah, GROW UP.

I had once joined a forum
last summer....

'twas also the same
as this issue...
and tell you what,
they have a
button called IP button
where you can press it
and know the IP address
of the person posting.

And luckily we have
found who the culprits ( harsh ayu haha ) were

Question: for the admin, is there any
IP button? you might have dissabled it
or maybe only the staff can access it...

you can always find the IP
address of the members
and might as well know who these
persons having multiple accounts are...

suggestion, Opinion:

for those people who are inactive for
about a month or two already,
better kick them out... ( HARSH RAWR.. hehe )
guess i'm toO harsh right.?? but that's the only
way of irradicating those ghost accounts
i have had encountered the same issue
in a forum before and that's what the
admin did,,... anyway, that's only an
opinion i mean a suggestion...

^ we have an IP button. take a look at your post.
at the right side after the x button which is beside the 'edit' button.

we can only find out people's IP addresses if they post.
but what if they have zero post? we will never know
if those people with zero post have the same IP addresses.

burahin nio na ung mga suuuuuuuuuper inactive people, display lng sila . sa Admin Panel meron nman cguro dun list ng last log-in ng mga members, if a member is inactive for a month or so kick them out . yeah tama nga xa di ntin kylangan ng maraming members, marami nga tayo but most of our members is inactive so balewala din un . sadyang marami ngang ghost accounts na ginagawa pra makuha lng nila ung title na gusto nila, sa mga tao na gumagawa ng mga gnung bagay - di nmin kau kylangan dto at sana tigilan nio na rin un i'm sure ginagawa nio rin to sa ibang forum, mahirap kya mg-forum hosting at mahirap din kaung habulin .

..pero sa totoo lang.. it's really not nice to know na may mga ghost members
dito sa forum, kasi parang unfair rin sa part ng mga members na nagsisipag para
makakuha lang ng votes.... tiyaka, you don't have to do bad things just to be famous coz
it's really not right.. coz people na gumagawa nun ay yong mga tao lang na desperate and absurd..
that's all....i-ban mo na lang sila kath.. ok lang kahit mabawasan ng members(ghost).. wag lang yong
totoong mga members..
